best-in-class. As a Compliance Risk Management Lead - Vice
President within CCOR (Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk )
team, you will provide and independent oversight, assessment of the
processes, risks and controls related to the Connected Commerce
CCOR team. You should have an expertise of the travel industry to
support the effective execution of the firm?wide Compliance Program
for Travel. You will develop and execute a complex compliance
program to manage regulatory exposure in the Travel business,
provide day?to?day compliance advice and oversight for Connected
Commerce initiatives, and stays abreast of evolving laws,
regulations, and travel technologies to guide new and existing
projects. You will work closely with various departments to
discharge their responsibilities under the CCOR Framework and will
be a key point of contact for operational risk and regulatory
compliance-related queries and audits. In this role, you will be
required to have a strong understanding of risks and regulatory
requirements, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work
collaboratively with various departments to enable business success
in a controlled manner. Job Responsibilities Lead New Business
Initiative reviews for Travel & Lodging (T&L), identification
of new or incremental Compliance Conduct and operational risks
(CCOR) across products, partnerships, and markets. Proactively
engage T&L business leaders on risk and control matters;
surface issues early and drive remediation plans with clear owners,
milestones, and residual?risk rationale. Own T&L inputs to
legal?entity and LOB compliance/operational risk assessments;
identify vulnerabilities specific to booking, fulfillment,
payments, chargebacks, and vendor ecosystems. Monitor effectiveness
of T&L controls (inventory commitments, marketing claims,
refunds/cancellations, third?party SLAs); recommend practical
enhancements and track outcomes. Prepare concise T&L risk
reporting for senior management; support regulatory requests/exams
with domain?specific materials, narratives, and evidence and
develop management, stakeholder, and regulator presentations in
order to communicate issues, recommendations, and status of
initiatives Ensure T&L activities /Initiatives comply with
applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, guide exam
readiness and response strategy and able to Assess and aggregate
risks across different lines of business and products and present
results to relevant stakeholders in Compliance and the business.
Represent CCOR (2LOD) in T&L governance forums and with
auditors/regulators; provide clear updates, credible risk
assessment, and decisions supported by data and Staying abreast of
the evolving business and regulatory landscape governing Travel to
provide Compliance guidance to the Connected Commerce organizations
on regulatory risk created by new and existing projects Act as
T&L subject?matter expert on emerging digital initiatives
(e.g., identity, AI?assisted personalization, partner platforms),
advising on risk controls and safe deployment. Collaborate with
CCOR, Legal, Controls, Operations, Finance, and Sourcing to give
expert T&L guidance; align oversight with business priorities
without compromising standards. Review T&L policies and
procedures to validate they reflect regulatory change and industry
best practices (e.g., disclosures, pricing transparency, inventory
availability, dispute handling) and continuously improve team
practices in T&L oversight; standardize playbooks, leverage
analytics/AI tools for monitoring and testing, and share domain
training to uplift capability across CCOR. Required qualifications,
capabilities and skills Minimum 5 years of banking, experience in
Travel and/or banking across Compliance, Legal, Risk, Control,
Audit, or Business functions. Proven decision-making ability with a
track record of managing multiple tasks and priorities. Strong
verbal and written communication skills and pay high attention to
detail. Demonstrate capability to learn quickly and manage multiple
demands. Self-starter who can drive and own their own deliverables
whilst continuing to collaborate with the broader team. Strong
written and oral communication and ability to provide defendable
advice, and partnership-building. Comfortable with engaging with
all levels of the organization on risk and control matters.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills 5 years in
Compliance/Risk leadership (Second Line/CCOR preferred) with deep
travel industry/regulatory and travel?technology expertise; prior
oversight of complex, multi?LOB programs. Proven track record
designing and executing monitoring and testing (with metrics/KPIs),
aggregating risks across products/LOBs, and driving issue
management from root cause through remediation to audit?ready
closure. Advanced qualifications preferred: CRCM, CAMS, CIA/CISA,
or PMP; advanced degree (e.g., JD, MBA, MS in Risk/Analytics) and
experience engaging regulators and internal audit. Strong data
fluency to support CCOR oversight (e.g., SQL and visualization
tools such as Tableau/ThoughtSpot), with ability to influence
cross?functional partners (Business, Legal, Controls, Risk,
Operations) and present to senior stakeholders.
