Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time Physical Therapist position supports K-12 students across multiple schools in the Research Triangle area, NC. The role is on-site and offers a contract duration through June 10, 2026, with an immediate start date. The caseload includes 30-40 students of varying ages, primarily within elementary, middle, and high school settings. Responsibilities include: - Provide direct physical therapy services aligned with individualized education plans (IEPs) - Visit approximately 5-9 schools, adjusting frequency as needed based on student caseloads and school schedules - Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to support student development and functional mobility - Document progress and treatment outcomes according to district requirements - Comply with all licensing and regulatory standards applicable to school-based physical therapy Qualifications: - Active Physical Therapist license required - Prior school-based physical therapy experience is mandatory - Strong understanding of pediatric therapeutic interventions across K-12 age groups - Excellent communication and organizational skills for working in a multi-school environment - Ability to manage varying schedules and treatment frequencies efficiently Work schedule aligns with school hours: - Elementary schools: 7:45 AM 2:15 PM - Middle schools: 8:30 AM 3:15 PM - High schools: 9:15 AM 4:15 PM This opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students functional abilities within a dynamic educational environment.
