Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract
position is available for a School Psychologist to support a
PreK-12 educational setting in Kinston, NC. This role offers 25-30
hours per week, beginning as soon as possible through June 5th,
2026. The position is ideal for a skilled professional dedicated to
fostering student well-being and academic success through
psychological services. Responsibilities include conducting
psychoeducational assessments, providing counseling, consulting
with educators and families, and assisting in the development of
individualized education plans (IEPs). The School Psychologist will
play a critical role in promoting a positive learning environment
and addressing the social-emotional needs of students.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid certification or
licensure as a School Psychologist Experience working with PreK-12
populations Proficiency in conducting assessments and interpreting
results Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to
provide direct support and consultation to students, staff, and
families This contract position has flexible scheduling within the
25-30 hours per week framework to accommodate school needs.
