Anatomy and Cell BiologyEmployer The Department of Anatomy & Cell Biology, Brody School ofMedicine at Employer (ECU) is seeking applicantsfor a tenure track or fixed term ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATEPROFESSOR position in Greenville, NC. Rank will becommensurate with qualifications, and the position will begin July15, 2019. Enthusiasm and experience teaching in the basic anatomicaldisciplines are required. The Department's teachingresponsibilities include medical students, a variety ofprofessional students and graduate students in M.S. and Ph.D.programs from diverse backgrounds. Applicants must have stronginterest and experience in medical education in human gross anatomyand in graduate student education. We are especially interested incandidates from underrepresented groups as well as individuals whohave experience working with diverse student populations. Research programs must compliment the strengths of ongoingresearch in the department (http://www.ecu.edu/anatomy) orwithin the school of medicine that encompass multidisciplinaryapproaches to study basic science and disease mechanisms.Preference will be given to applicants having basic researchexperience with relevance to progenitor cell biology,osteoarthritis, cancer cell biology, reproductive health andneurodegenerative diseases and research programs that span theseareas. Applicants for Associate Professor should have anestablished research program.
