Utilities Mechanic is to maintain, diagnose, repair, rebuild,
adjust, perform preventive maintenance, and install equipment
within and around the facility to keep the production operational
and have zero loss of production. This individual will perform the
duties of a Utilities Mechanic and assist other maintenance
personnel on his/her shift and will be responsible for all
necessary paperwork and documentation as they relate to the job.

Respond to general mechanical requestBasic HVAC repairsProvide
support for ammonia refrigeration systemsStrong knowledge of drive
componentsInspect machinery bearingsRepair and operation of various
pump configurationExecute basic pneumatic and hydraulic
troubleshootingInstall and replace bearing and shaft sealsAdhere to
all safety requirements including PPE, preventing, and reporting
unsafe acts and conditions, Lock out-Tag out procedures and Process

degree (GED) and 1+ years of related experience and/or training in
an industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing
environment; or 4 years' direct experience in an industrial
mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing maintenance
environment.Strong reading, math, writing, analytical skills
requiredMust be able to work weekends as neededPerform assigned
tasks efficiently with minimum supervisionMust be able to pass a
pulmonary function testCapable of meeting the physical requirements
