FinanceThe following are the duties of this position at the full
working level. If this vacancy includes more than one grade and you
are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity
to learn to perform these duties and receive training to help you
grow in this position.* Meets with managers and executives within
the Service to define the overall goals and objectives of the
project.* Prepares action plans and schedules for various phases of
project accomplishment, both short and long-range; ensures that
plans are consistent with Service goals, schedules, and policies.*
Prepares recommendation for resource requirements to accomplish the
project; negotiates with managers of various components of the
Service to obtain needed resources and support.* Establishes a
system to review, control, and report on project status.* Plans,
coordinates, and establishes operating methods and procedures for
accomplishment of project mission; as needed, directs the
development and accomplishment of employee training relating to the

you may be directed to temporarily telework on a full-time basis
due to COVID 19. Employees must be within a 200-mile radius of
their official assigned post-of-duty (POD) while in a telework
status. Once normal operations resume, employees may be directed
back to the office to perform the duties of their position.
Telework eligibility does not guarantee telework; employees must
meet and sustain IRS telework eligibility requirements and
supervisor's approval to participate in the IRS Telework Program.

travel.QualificationsFederal experience is not required. The
experience may have been gained in the public sector, private
sector or Volunteer Service. One year of experience refers to
full-time work; part-timework is considered on a prorated basis. To
ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates
of employment by month/year, and indicate number of hours worked
per week, on your resume.You must meet the following requirements
by the closing date of this announcement:Basic Qualifications
Requirements GS-13: You must have at least one year (1) of
specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level
(GS-12). Specialized experience for this position includes:
demonstrated accomplishment of a wide range of analytical and
evaluative methods and techniques, both qualitative and
quantitative; management and organizational principles to apply to
programs, projects and studies concerning the efficiency and
effectiveness of operations and means to improve them. Knowledge of
project management to evaluate complex projects and studies and the
ability to identify problem areas, trends, deficiencies and other
similar factors affecting operations. Your experience must include
budgeting methods and techniques to prepare analyses and estimates;
oral communication techniques to present findings, deliver
briefings, and negotiate solutions to disputed
recommendations.ANDMEET TIME IN GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT: For
positions above the GS-05, applicants must meet applicable
time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year (52
weeks) at the next lower grade level is required to meet the
time-in-grade requirements for the grade you are applying
for.ANDTIME AFTER COMPETITIVE APPOINTMENT: By the closing date (or

have completed at least 90 days of federal civilian service since

stop times between 6:00am and 6:00pm.* Alternative work schedule,
