The drugs we make in the Pharma Services Group (PSG) touch over 1 Million people around the world every day that equates to 12 people every second. PSG includes Fisher Clinical Services clinical trials products, services and expertise as well as the capabilities of recently acquired Patheon, an established leader in both small- and large-molecule development and manufacturing solutions.
How will you make an impact?
In this key role, you---ll perform QA initiatives according to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). You---ll lead a team that assures products, processes, and records comply with company specifications, legal agreements, and applicable regulations.
What you will do Assures compliance to all applicable regulations by proactively interpreting regulatory and compliance requirements, establishing, and maintaining systems. Manage a team that may perform one or a combination of the following functions: QA floor support, audits, record review, final product release, document/records management, and/or investigations. Ensures quality of methods, processes, materials and products by providing coordination and review of group operations, staff training, and the assessment/improvement of systems and processes. Complies with all job-related safety and other training requirements in a timely manner. Supports systems and new product introduction as a technical resource by providing assessment technical expertise, problem solving, and strategies for problem prevention. Develops strategies and priorities to assure future success of the Company. Conducts risk assessments and takes appropriate actions during quality system management and oversight activities (e.g. during review/approval) to ensure adequate controls in relation to the level of product quality, safety and business risks. Manages resources by budgeting for and assures availability of staff to meet business needs. Maintains current knowledge of emerging trends and technologies. Serves as a technical resource. Ensures strong performance management of their team by putting plans with metrics in place, while coaching and developing and providing training opportunities.
How will you get there
Bachelor's Degree in a scientific field
Experience Seven years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry that includes five years supervisory experience is
preferred Leading organizational change; developing and empowering staff; cultivating relationships Building effective teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals Driving engagement and creating a climate where staff are motivated to do their best
