Job Description:
Analyzes data sources (customer attributes, transactional
history, digital activity, and research surveys) to uncover key patterns to drive strategic decisions. Works on an Agile
inter-disciplinary team to perform data and analytics researching using big data and programming languages: R, Python,
and SQL. Couples behavioral analysis with quantitate and qualitative research to generate the insights
needed to understand customers and to develop high- impact, efficient solutions and experiences. Primary Responsibilities: Maintains and develops analytical and research expertise.
Develops standards and scaling self-serve data analytics, research, and experimentation approaches. Analyzes customer
behavior to every touch-point tied to customer attributes, preferences, and customer outcomes. Couples
behavioral analysis with quantitative and qualitative research to generate insights needed to understand customers and
to develop high-impact, efficient solutions, and experiences. experiences. Designs, runs, analyzes, and interprets
experimental tests and primary research studies employing various quantitative and qualitative methodologies. Translates
quantitative analyses and researches findings into accessible visuals for non-technical audiences. Generates
meaningful insights through data analytics and research and presents complex data, financial analysis, statistics, and
research findings to key stakeholders. Creates proof of concept (POC) to validate the most efficient approach to get
data in house. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a
closely related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience performing data
analysis, application development, and system ad administration within the financial services industry. Or, alternatively, a Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics,
Chemistry, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience
performing data analysis, application development, and system administration within the financial services
industry. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) performing data mining, extraction,
cleansing, and analysis for large data warehouses, using Business R, Oracle, MS-SQL server, Hadoop, PostgreSQL,
Hive, and Spark; creating new ETL processes, using SSIS and Alteryx; and designing data models and generating
visual insights from customer data, using QlikSense, QlikView, Tableau, and Business R visual analytics. DE performing Dimensional Data modeling, using relational
database management systems -- Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL; performing performance tuning
of data models for faster data reloads in Qlik and Tableau; and creating Microsoft certified implementation data
models and reports, using Microsoft SQL Server. DE performing Qlik administration, security, and advanced
integration, including software installation and upgrade, maintenance, integration, and security of applications, using
advanced analytic tools R and Python; integrating external open source visualization extensions (D3 JS); and integrating,
creating and scheduling visualization extensions, using Qlik N-Printing as the reporting platform to generate PDF, HTML,
and Pixel-perfect reports. DE delivering and implementing business intelligence strategies
-- defining KPIs and designing and building data pipelines to integrate data using QlikView, QlikSense Designer,
