Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University, Department of
Surgery, is seeking a Colon and Rectal Surgeon to join its Division
of Surgical Oncology at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.
Applicants should be board eligible or board certified in
colorectal surgery by the American Board of Surgery. Post-residency
fellowship training in colorectal surgery and proficiency in
minimally invasive techniques are required. The clinical practice
will be a combination of benign and malignant colorectal
conditions. A strong interest in academics and research is
desired.
The Division of Surgical Oncology is dedicated to providing state
of the art surgical care to patients in eastern North Carolina. The
candidate will join 5 surgical oncologists, one colorectal surgeon,
and an advanced care practitioner in providing patient care,
education for medical students, and appropriate training and
supervision for house staff. The successful candidate will have the
opportunity to rapidly integrate into our active, collaborative,
clinical, teaching and research program. Opportunities for
