Care (Arlington location) Qualified candidates must have prior
experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in a
primary care, family practice, immediate, and/or emergency setting
Physicians East, P. A. invites you to consider an exceptional
opportunity in Greenville, NC. We are seeking a well-trained,
collegial and motivated Advanced Practice Practitioner (Nurse
Practitioner or Physician Assistant) comfortable in all areas of
primary care to be part of our established primary care department.
This provider will be joining a practice with 13 physicians and 2
mid-level providers. We are consistently growing and expanding our
program, and our primary care department is excited about the
future. Our established modern practice maintains a patient
centered approach through electronic medical records and a highly
efficient support staff. This position is open to experienced
Advanced Practice Practitioners. Our fringe benefit program offers

insurance. We're looking for an individual who can provide
first-class care for our patients while ensuring exceptional
experience. At least one supervising physician is always available,
and the candidate would never work shifts alone. You will be able
to use your problem-solving skills to overcome challenges in a
fast-paced environment. Qualifications include: Licensed as a PA-C
or NP in the state of North Carolina; Must have significant
experience as a mid-level provider in a primary care, family
practice, immediate, and/or emergency setting; Must be able to work
independently (under indirect supervision); Must have experience
and knowledge of an EMR system, preferably Centricity, voice
dictation (Dragon) and strong documentation skills; Ability to work
under pressure with time constraints; Must be able to use strong
clinical judgment to determine when a supervising physician should
be consulted; Flexible and adaptable with a focus on not turning
any patient away before exhausting all reasonable options; Value
working in a team-oriented, patient-centric culture. The ideal
candidate will also: Be confident in clinical decision-making and
autonomous in providing care to patients in a fast-paced clinical
practice setting. Demonstrate strong communication skills, both
written and verbal, and be proactive in discussing case management.
Possess excellent time management and have ability to work well
with patients and their families, collaborating/supervising
physicians, facility staff and leadership. Display a professional
demeanor and recognition of privacy considerations for patients and
families, maintaining strict confidentiality in all times.
Demonstrate a strong sense of team commitment, which includes
meeting deadlines, punctuality and excellent follow-through and
feedback. Our private practice, located in Greenville, NC, is
multi-specialty with numerous offices located in and around the
area. In addition to internal medicine we offer pulmonary CC
medicine, rheumatology, emergency medicine, dermatology, oncology,
family medicine, endocrinology, infectious disease,
gastroenterology, cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology,
hematology/oncology and surgery. Our 100 providers and over 540
employees provide services for thousands of patients in a 29-county
region. Our doctors are on staff at Vidant Medical Center, a 947
bed level-one trauma center and the primary teaching hospital for
the East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine (ECU-BSOM).
Greenville is a pleasant community located in eastern North
Carolina. It is only approximately one hour away from the Atlantic
Ocean. Our community has a population of approximately 95,000;
however, Greenville is the economic, retail and medical "hub" for
29 counties in the east. It offers a very high quality of life,
normally reserved for smaller cities, yet it has all the cultural
qualities associated with a larger urban area. East Carolina
University and the Brody SOM, located in Greenville, is one of the
largest universities in the state with 28,000 students and provides
a wealth of cultural, theatrical, and artistic programs. In
