Job Description:
Full-time 12hours per week Summary of Job: The Psychiatrist is
responsible for directing, coordinating and providing
recovery-oriented medical/ clinical services including engagement,
assessment, differential diagnosis, recovery service planning,
medication management, family meetings, appropriate psychotherapy,
education, risk assessment, discharge planning and medical
oversight for each individual. The Psychiatrist also provides
clinical supervision and oversight of the psychiatric services
delivered by the Nurse Practitioner. Essential Duties and
Responsibilities: ---Completes initial psychiatric assessment.
---Develops differential diagnostic assessments and obtains consent
to treatment. ---Prescribes and administers medication. ---Conducts
service planning and coordination by continually assessing needs.
---Oversees safety intervention procedures as appropriate.
---Consults with primary healthcare providers on the clinical
aspects of the individuals being served and the implications for
those individual's physical healthcare needs. ---Coordinates with
the medical staff of other providers, e.g. state and community
inpatient facilities. ---Assists in determining medical clearance,
progress notes and family interventions. ---Completes clinical
documentation as required. ---Provides clinical supervision and
oversight of the psychiatric services delivered by the Nurse
Practitioner. ---Understands and adheres to RI International
compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and
Conflict of Interest Policies. ---Keeps abreast of all federal and
state regulations and laws and all RI International policies as
they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
---Performs other related duties assigned. Job Requirements: To
perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to

registration required. ---Doctorate of Medicine or Osteopathic
Medicine with a specialty in Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine.
---One (1) or more post-residency years' experience in delivery of
behavioral health treatment. Driving Requirements: ---If driving is
required for this position, must meet all requirements outlined in
RI International driving policy. ---If not qualified to drive per
driving policy, a Non-Driver Attestation form must be signed. A
Provider Competency Checklist must be completed as part of the new
hire onboarding process. Physical Demands: May include work close
to the eyes and substantial motions of the wrist, hands, and/or
fingers. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, handling, finger
dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination, use of corrected vision;
color vision; use of auditory senses. May be required to lift up to
twenty (20) pounds. Work Environment May work in an office
environment or behavioral health facility. May have contact with
individuals who are agitated and/or confused. Work may include
