Job Description:

JOB PURPOSE
- The Unit Clinical Coordinator assists the Nurse Manager in coordination of the unit activities and responsibilities. Serves as a clinical role model and resource to staff. Assures the on-going educational development of all unit employees and performs management duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager. Participates in departmental and hospital wide performance improvement initiatives.
- JOB SPECIFICATIONS
  - EDUCATION
    - Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; BSN preferred
    - EXPERIENCE
      - Two years relevant RN experience; Charge Nurse/Preceptor experience preferred.
      - LICENSURE/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION
        
        Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina; BLS certification, ACLS certification within one year.
