Description OB/GYN Opportunities with UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC UNC Health Southeastern, in partnership with UNC Physicians Network, is actively recruiting two full-time Obstetrics and Gynecology physicians to join our dynamic and growing practice in Lumberton, North Carolina.Our well-established, compassionate care team includes: * 5 board-certified OB/GYN physicians * 1 GYN-only physician * 6 certified nurse midwives * 3 nurse practitioners * Supported by a dedicated and experienced clinical and administrative staff.
We take pride in our collaborative, team-based approach to care, serving a culturally diverse patient population. We welcome both experienced physicians and new graduates to apply. Practice Highlights * Competitive base salary plus RVU-based production incentives and quality bonuses * Collegial group of experienced physicians and advanced practice providers committed to mentoring and teamwork * Single office location in Lumberton; deliveries and surgeries performed at UNC Health Southeastern * 4.5-day workweek with an average of 22 patients per day in clinic * Call schedule: 1:5 to 1:6, with home call and midwives taking first call * Dedicated OR block time and access to da Vinci Xi robotic surgery system * EPIC electronic medical record system * Teaching opportunities available through Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine Relocation assistance * Potential sign-on bonus * CME allowance: 5 days and $3,000 * Generous time off: 6-7 weeks of vacation (dependent on experience) * Comprehensive benefits package including: * Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, Short- and long-term disability, Malpractice coverage * Retirement plans (403(b) and 457(b)) with employer match Health System Highlights * 337 bed community hospital with a strong reputation for quality care * Over 1,200 births annually * Brand-new, state-of-the-art Labor & Delivery unit opened in November 2024 * Newly renovated outpatient office space opened in December 2024 * Level II NICU with 24/7 in-house Neonatology coverage * Active residency programs in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine * Cardiology fellowship launching July 2025; Sports Medicine fellowship in development
