We are hiring for:Facility Registered Nurse / RNType:RegularIf you are a positive and personable individual looking for a satisfying and fun opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people with intellectual, developmental disabilities, and people facing mental health, and substance use challenges, join our team at RHA Health Services!To provide professional care to service users, aimed at preventing disease and maintaining good health care.Hiring Full Time and Part Time for Day Shift and Night ShiftPay: Depending on experienceSign on bonus: $2500Schedule: Full-time and Part availableDay shift: 7 am-7 pmNight Shift: 7 pm-7 amFull-time requires to work every other weekendJob Responsibilities:Provide health-related training to the staff and people supported, provide routine nursing assessments, assist with ensuring preventative and routine medical appointments are scheduled, and be an active participant in each individuals person-centered plan to help them reach their fullest potential.Interact with staff at the RHA office as well as in the residential homes.Observing, assessing and evaluating the health needs and conditions of the people we serveTeaching the people we serve to monitor their health and take their medication as appropriateReviewing documentation collected by residential care employeesPerform quality assurance checks and observations to ensure Direct Care Assistants are correctly monitoring the health and safety of the people we serve in residential homesServe on the safety committeeConduct nursing house assessments to ensure medications are stored according to state regulationsProvide enhanced nursing servicesTeaching health-related training to direct support staffRequirements:Associates degree in Nursing required; Bachelors degree preferredValid state RN certificationExperience working with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities preferredValid drivers license and auto insuranceAbility to lift between 20 and 50 pounds and provide CPR after certificationAbility to pass a background check and drug screenAbility to remain calm in crisis situations#HPNURSEPre-employment screening:Complete criminal backgroundName checked in the registries.
