• 65 care spaces, including many medical treatment rooms, locked behavioral health unit, super track, ambulatory patient care area, 2 state-of-the-art trauma resuscitation bays, etc.
• Brand new SonoSite US and new video laryngoscopy/fiber optic airway equipment
• Double physician coverage for the majority of the day
• Advanced practice providers (APPs) staff Provider in Triage during high volume periods
• Flexible documentation system using templates and voice recognition
• Emergency physicians do not write admitting orders. Internal Medicine, intensive care, pediatric, general surgery, and orthopedic hospitalists perform almost all admissions
