DescriptionSeeking Nurse Externs to join the Grand Strand Medical Center team!As a paid Nurse Extern, you will work as a patient care tech, as well as function under the direct supervision of an RN and perform specific and assigned tasks.Available Units:

• Neuro/Stroke
• Ortho
• General Med/SurgWhat qualifications you will need:?
  • Must be currently enrolled in an approved RN Program and completed Fundamentals of Nursing
  • A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is requiredWhat you will do in this role:
    • You will provide adequate daily patient care and report information to Team Leader.
    • You will provide a safe and confidential environment for the patient.
    • You will accept accountability for completion of assignments, demonstrate reliability and dependability, adhere to attendance policies, and utilize time and resources efficiently.
    • You will reflect the values of HCA Healthcare and our ethics and compliance principles in your daily activities (as stated in Code of Conduct).
