Our Company:Rehab in MotionOverview:Rehab In Motion is expanding to Tarboro, NCSign On Bonus AvailablePosition: Physical TherapistEmployment Type: Full-TimeCompensation: $70,000-$100,000Location: The Barclay House at Tarboro Who we are looking for:An experienced PT, enthusiastic about empowering clients with strength & independenceYou are familiar with Independent Living, Assisted Living, Geriatric and/or Home Health SettingsYou value flexibility, autonomy and providing personalized one-on-one careWhat you will receive:Flexible Hours- Create your own scheduleClinical AutonomyProvide 1:1 therapyCompetitive PayProfessional Growth OpportunitiesSupportive Leadership & Team EnvironmentResponsibilities:What you will do: Responsibilities listed include but not limited to:Perform evaluations and develop treatment plansRegularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferencesPerform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for safety, and provide referral and education resourcesCommunicate patients needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services and family membersSupervision of Physical Therapy Assistants as neededCommunicates with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care and enhance patient outcomesQualifications:What you will need:Minimum of bachelors degree in Physical Therapy from a college or university with accredited Physical Therapy programCurrent, unrestricted license as Physical Therapist by state in which practicingCurrent Basic Life Support or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification in accordance state regulationsFamiliarity with assisted living, independent living, geriatrics and/or home healthDemonstrates knowledge of evidence based therapy interventionsCommunicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactionsAbility to lift 50 poundsMoving, lifting, or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety proceduresDuties require fine motor skills,visual acuity, and walking/ standing for extended periodsAdditional physical requirements include: pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently at timesA health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter, depending on the specific location policy, local or state regulations to verify that he/she is physically capable of performing assigned duties with or without reasonable accommodationsAbout our Line of Business: Rehab in Motion, an affiliate of Rehab Without Walls, is devoted to elevating the physical and emotional wellbeing of older adults through physical, occupational and speech therapies.
