Job Description AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in GREENVILLE, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/14/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description & Requirements/n /nRegistered Nurse – Telemetry - Travel - (Tele RN)/n /nStartDate: 7/14/2025 /nAvailable Shifts: 12 N /nPay Rate: $1897.82 - $2091.47 /n /nThe Medical Oncology unit receives overflow of populations such as surgery and medical patients at times. Nursing staff /nanalyze cardiac rhythms on their patients; we are not monitored by monitor techs. BLS is required upon hire; ACLS /n(Advanced Cardiac Life Support) is recommended to be obtained within one year./nSkills that will be utilized are administering chemotherapy, continuous infusion medication management, pain management, wound vac dressing changes, wound drains, central lines, tracheotomy patients, chest tubes, IV start skills, /nperipheral lab draws, arterial blood draws, various intravenous drips i.e. cardiac, insulin, heparin, and cardiac monitoring. Work collaboratively with other disciplines such as Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Recreational Therapy, Unit /nbased Dietitian, Pharmacist, Case Management, and Social Work./nServices also include patient education related to chemotherapy, radiation, associated procedures, disease processes, management, diagnostic procedures, and trach care./n/n Required Qualifications Registered Nurse, Telemetry/nExperience: 2 years/nLicenses: RN(Compact Accepted)/nCertifications: BLS/n/nStrong Oncology background and Phlebotomy skills 80 mile radius Must be able to read and interpret strips/n Preferred Qualifications EPIC ONS certification preferred./n About the Facility As the flagship hospital of eastern North Carolina’s premier healthcare system, this facility offers a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient care and houses the region's only Level I trauma center.
