Job Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Profession:

(CST) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours
(11:00 - 23:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: NC
or Compact license pending is acceptable for submission. Required
in hand at time of start. Certifications: BLS and NBSTAP Must-Have:
Experience with all ages Experience in inpatient, trauma, scrub,
and aseptic technique Experience in ENT, General, Ortho,
Ortho/Spine, Urology, Endo/Laparoscopic, Vascular, Thoracic, Neuro,
Gyn, and Neuro/Spine 3-4 rating in ophthalmology, strong in
vascular, neuro, and robotics Description: RTO after booking is not
allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or
additional RTO may result in a cancellation. Daily case load is 80,
with 22 rooms available. The facility provides surgical services
that support multi-specialty inpatient, outpatient, and emergent
surgical procedures. Procedures include General, Vascular,
Neurosurgery, Orthopedic, Urology, EENT, OB/GYN, Plastics, OMF,
Trauma, Dental, Pediatric, Neonatal, and Endoscopy. Contract staff
may be required to report to work during catastrophic events, mass
casualties, or disasters. The position may require floating to
other units based on skill sets and patient census. Weekend shifts
may be necessary as needed. Potential call of 1 to 2, 12-hour
shifts per approximately two weeks as needed. Scrubs will be
provided. Interview availability must be provided for scheduling
purposes. References will be required at the time of submission and
must include two manager or supervisor references from within the
past 12 months. Travel pairs are allowed but must be submitted for
approval and will work on different units. Fatigue policy requires
that travelers cannot work more than 5 days in a row or more than
60 hours in a week.
