Job Description & Requirements - Specialty:CTICU - Cardiothoracic Intensive Care - Discipline:RN - Start Date:07/14/2025 - Duration:13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift:12 hours, nights - Employment Type:Travel Auto Offer position -One (1) year of nursing experience. Required Certifications & Licensure: -Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina. -Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC). UNC Medical CenterCardiothoracic ICUThe Cardiovascular and Thoracic Critical Care 40-bed unit is part of the UNC Center for Heart and Vascular Care. The primary surgical procedures include coronary artery bypass grafting, heart valve repair and replacements, heart transplants, lung transplants, LVAD, ECMO, aortic/thoracic aneurysm repairs, and complicated esophageal, thoracic and vascular surgeries.
