after booking is not allowed and is not permitted to be worked out
onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO could possibly result in a
cancel and DNR. Ratios are 1:6-7 for the unit. This is a 12-hour
night shift position. 36 or 48 hours will be accepted. If working
48 hours, there is no overtime until after 48 hours. There is no
call requirement. Floating to similar units and alternate care
locations with inpatients may be required. Every other weekend is
mandatory. Staff will be assigned to a designated Inclement Weather
Team and may be required to report to work during a catastrophic
event, mass casualty, or disaster. Candidates must live more than
70 miles from the facility. The candidate must submit their
permanent address for recruitment purposes. Candidates must work 2
out of 3 major holidays. No RTO is allowed during the first week of
the assignment. Candidates must be comfortable floating without
restrictions based on the job description. References from two
supervisors within the past 12 months are preferred. Travel pairs
are allowed but must work on different units. Charting experience
in specific software is required. Modules must be completed
pre-start and annually. Fatigue policy states travelers cannot work
more than 5 days in a row and/or more than 60 hours in a week.
