TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Wilmington, North Carolina, 28401! Pay Information $1,963 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13-26 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: NC or Compact License Certifications: BCLS Must-Have: Traveler Experience: Not Required Float Requirement: Must be comfortable floating to similar units Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required; must be able to work holidays Description: Cross posting is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional requests for time off on the unit could possibly result in cancellations. Ratios are 1:6-7. Nights shifts of 36 or 48 hours are accepted. If working 48 hours, additional hours will not be counted as overtime until after 48 hours. Requests for time off are limited to 7 days maximum. Floating to similar units is typical, with floating expected at least once a week. Assignment and expectation to work on a storm or hurricane team may occur. Contract staff may be required to report to work during catastrophic events or disasters. Patient diagnoses include medical/surgical patients. Essential procedures may involve insulin and heparin infusions. Experience with medication and documentation systems is necessary. Compliance with a fatigue policy is required; no more than 5 days of work in a row and no more than 60 hours per week. References are highly preferred at the time of submission. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. No time off is permitted during the first week of the assignment.
