autonomy, variety of patients, constant movement, job security, and
a supportive team. Role: Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to
nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other miscellaneous
facilities. Tasks and Responsibilities: Perform and process X-Rays
using portable digital or computed radiography equipment and
submit/transmit them for interpretation by a Radiologist. Unload
portable X-Ray equipment and take it into facilities to perform
exams ordered by the physician. Obtain clinically diagnostic and
technically competent X-Ray images. Perform EKGs as needed and
transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation when required.
Scan exam-related paperwork and documents daily per protocol.
Regularly communicate with dispatch and management. Communicate
efficiently and interact professionally with peers, supervisory
staff, and clients. Maintain the vehicle and X-Ray equipment.
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are
representative of those that must be met to successfully perform
the essential functions of this job. Radiologic Technologists may
push or pull weights between 50 to 100 lbs. Using vehicle ramps and
pulleys can decrease this weight. Pushing or pulling equipment
within a facility or home may increase the weight challenge. Fifty
lbs of force or more can occur 16 to 24 times a day. Maintain
required state licenses and health requirements. Hold a valid
driver's license in good standing at all times. Vaccination against
COVID-19 is a requirement for all individuals or a valid exemption
must be documented.
