HOME CLINIC: Open positions are located at various clinics across the Tri-Cities Area including Richland, Kennewick, Pasco, and West Richland. We will discuss current open positions and your preferences during the interview. The Job utilizes a combination of skills including: - Taking patient vital signs - Update patient medical records including medications, allergies, and other information - Utilize a variety of clinical skills including injection administration, assisting in-office medical procedures, specimen collection, and point of care lab testing. This is a combination posting for an Associate Medical Assistant and Medical Assistant. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. Associate Medical Assistant Required Qualifications: - Coursework/Training and Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants Or - Coursework/Training and Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program Or - Coursework/Training and Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces Or - Coursework/Training and minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration Or - Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification - Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association - Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0-6 months) Preferred Qualifications: - 6 months Prior experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment. - 6 months Previous experience in a healthcare setting working with an Electronic Health record (EHR).
