Hematology/Oncology Opening in North Carolina Located in Washington, NC - Coastal; Greenville, NC 20m Seeking a BE/BC Fellowship trained Hematology Oncologist to join their cancer program. Applicants should have an interest in growing a community-based general oncology practice. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm schedule Shared regional call Established team of experienced nurses and nurse navigators Advance practice provider support Accredited cancer center includes 13 bay infusion therapy unit, radiation therapy services, survivorship planning, patient support services and meditation garden Clinical responsibilities will include: developing treatment plans for new diagnosis in hematology oncology patients, chemotherapy oversight, supervising advance practice provider on follow up patients, and participation in tumor board Participation in a 9-hospital system of cancer care with 5 COC accredited sites sharing a common medical record and planned COC Network Close collaboration with the Cancer Care team which includes a multidisciplinary team of specialists including radiation oncologists, hematology oncologists, surgical oncologists, gynecologic oncologist, neurological oncologist, hematology oncology fellows, and patient navigators Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package to include: annual administrative stipend, relocation assistance, vacation, sick, and holidays, malpractice (with tail), 401k, 457b, medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance142-bed full-service hospital with an active medical staff of more than 50 physicians representing 20 specialties, as well as more than 600 nurses, technicians and support staff.
