Position TravelNurseSource is working with Mindlance Health to find
a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Wilmington, North Carolina,
28401! ID: 75242543 Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (06:00 - 19:00)
Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to
be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit,
could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.*May recover Surgical
patients in the ICU setting*REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / Years of
Experience: 2Traveler Experience: REQUIREDLocals Accepted / Rate
Difference: Yes. If a traveler lives less than 50 miles from the
facility, they can inquire through their recruiter what the local
rate is for the role they are interested in.Skills: Phase 1-2 PACU.
Must have some ICU experience (1-2 ratings on checklist for a
screen through). They will NOT be floating to the ICU, just often
upgrade and manage this level of care in PACU. Additionally, we do
send a PACU RN to the STICU to recover patientsCerts: ACLS, BCLS,
PALS.PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Charge Nurse Experience,
Conscious Sedation, FHM, ICP, Telemetry, Vents, ICU background exp
prior to PACU and Pediatric Experience.JOB : 1:2Shift: 12 HR Days
0600-1900 RTO: 7 days MAX;Call Requirement: once every four
weeksFloat Requirement: Float to areas of overflow patients
(typically over to surgical short stay)Weekend Requirement: Varies
Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team
and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to
work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster.

90 minutes, depending on when patient reaches the criteria for
discharge to Phase ll, home, post op tower or ICU.Nights and w/ends
we recover as well as discharge Phase II patients. Also, have

employee of Novant Health or New Hanover must wait 12 months before
applying as a traveler. Please note in the submission packet if
your candidate previously worked here, the hospital name and dates
of employment. Facility rehire approval is needed. We cannot
proceed with any offer until rehire approval is obtained. Failure
to disclose this information will negatively impact your candidate
and may result in a cancel. Novant runs their own check on each
traveler upon hiring, so we need to notify them beforehand. Current
travel Per Diem clinicians at Novant Health or New Hanover are
ineligible for travel assignments. Working both simultaneously is
