Opportunity – Telemetry/Progressive Care RN – North Carolina Start
Date: February 16, 2026 Location: Wilmington, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule:
12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), 36 hours per week, every
other weekend required Highlights: 13 to 26 week contract
assignments available Specialized cardiac monitoring unit with
progressive care patient population Patient ratios of 1:6-7 with
comprehensive interdisciplinary support Epic charting system with
24-hour paid orientation Experience with advanced cardiac
interventions including pre/post cardiac cath, sheath removal, and
cardiac drip titration First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2
years of relevant experience Requirements: Active RN license (North
Carolina or Compact state license) Minimum 2 years of Telemetry AND
Progressive Care/Stepdown experience required ACLS and BLS
certifications required; NIHSS preferred Proficiency in dysrhythmia
interpretation and remote cardiac monitoring Experience with
pre/post cardiac cath care, cardiac surgery patients, and sheath
removal Competency in accessing ports, blood product
administration, central line management, and PICC line care Ability
to titrate cardiac drips including Diltiazem and Amiodarone Must
pass EKG testing prior to start date Willingness to float as needed
based on unit census (potential to float every shift) Flu vaccine
