Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity
is for a licensed Occupational Therapist fluent in Spanish to
provide essential services to elementary students (K-5) in a
Durham, NC school setting. The position is a contract role lasting
through June 11, 2026, with an immediate start date. The role
supports a caseload of 25-30 students, focusing on delivering
tailored therapeutic interventions within the school day. Key
Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy evaluations,
interventions, and progress monitoring for Spanish-speaking
elementary students. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and
support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education
Programs (IEPs). Utilize bilingual skills to effectively
communicate and engage with students and their families. Maintain
accurate documentation and comply with state licensing and school
district requirements. Adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse
student needs within a flexible school day schedule.
Qualifications: Current Occupational Therapist license in North
Carolina. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish required to serve the
student population effectively. Experience working with
elementary-aged children (K-5). Strong communication and
collaboration skills to work within a multidisciplinary team. Job
Details: Location: Durham, NC Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days
per week, aligning with school calendar Contract duration:
