Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS and NIH Certification Required Must-Have: Meditech experience preferred Description: Orientation is bi-weekly. The facility has 294 beds and is Joint Commission Accredited. Areas of care include cancer care, cardiac care, orthopedics, imaging, and surgical services. The medical-surgical unit consists of trauma-level care. The unit features 22 beds with patient ratios of 6:1 up to 7:1. The department utilizes telemetry equipment and MEDITECH for electronic health records. The patient population primarily includes adults and geriatric patients. Common diagnoses and treatments include surgical care, peritoneal dialysis exchanges, and psychiatric placements. Candidates should be family-oriented and possess strong interpersonal skills. Dress code is scrubs in any color.
