Key Responsibilities: Independently evaluate and treat patients of all ages (6 months and up) in urgent care settings. Perform minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, and ear irrigations. Utilize Epic EMR for comprehensive documentation and charting. Maintain high standards of patient care and safety. Collaborate with support staff, including center managers and medical assistants, to ensure smooth operations. Adhere to all certification and licensing requirements. Required Skills: Minimum 12 months of urgent care experience. Board certification (BC or NCCPA for PAs; Family NP Cert for NPs). Proficiency in Epic EMR and electronic charting. Valid PA or NP certification and BLS certification. Strong soft skills and ability to work effectively one-on-one with patients and support staff. Ability to see and treat all patients independently. Nice to Have Skills: Experience with minor procedures beyond core skills. Familiarity with pediatric care. Additional certifications or training in urgent or emergency medicine. Preferred Education and Experience: Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least 12 months of recent urgent care experience. Good soft skills and proven ability to handle diverse patient populations. Other Requirements: Willingness to work at multiple locations within a 65-mile radius. Must complete EMR training and onboarding prior to the first solo shift. No call responsibilities required. No travel reimbursement is provided, mileage reimbursement only.
