general surgical procedures. Located near Raleigh-Durham
International Airport, this role offers a dynamic work environment
with opportunities for on-call coverage. We are seeking a highly
skilled surgeon with an active NC license and board certification
to ensure continuous and quality patient care. Key Details
Assignment Type: Locum Tenens Setting: Outpatient Clinic Start
Date: February 27, 2026 - Ongoing Schedule: Day shifts Patient
Population: Adult Location: Wilson, NC Stipends: Housing and travel

applicable) Flexible scheduling Job Responsibilities Perform a
range of required surgeries including laparoscopic appendectomy,
cholecystectomy, and hernioplasty Conduct obstetric and gynecologic
surgeries such as cesarean sections, D&C, and hysterectomy
Execute required GI endoscopies including sigmoidoscopy and
colonoscopy Perform required breast surgeries and necessary
vascular access devices placement Engage in additional preferred
surgeries including head/neck surgery and pediatric surgical
interventions as applicable Qualifications Active NC medical
license Board-certified with certifications in ABLS, ACLS, ATLS,
BLS, and PALS Experience in required and preferred surgical
procedures Clean professional history Working Hours Day shifts
typically align with standard clinic hours Skills Expertise in
general and laparoscopic surgeries Proficiency in required and
preferred surgical procedures Strong communication and teamwork
