Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Wilmington, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,948 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active Nursing License Certifications: BCLS Must-Have: EPIC experience required. Must be able to take insulin and heparin drips. Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO may possibly result in a cancellation. Travelers must be able to work holidays. There is a possibility of taking care of COVID patients. Travelers will be assigned to an Inclement Weather Team. Charge role is required for night travelers. Target patient ratios are 1:6-7. 36 or 48 hours accepted. Call required if scheduled on call. Floating to similar units and alternate care locations may occur. Travelers will be assigned to every other weekend. Unit patient demographics include adults and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 43. Special procedures and equipment include insulin drips, heparin drips, wound vac dressing changes, and high flow oxygen. Short term BiPap with respiratory support is occasionally available. No additional training is required for common procedures. The unit does not accommodate PCU-level patients. Unit documentation and medication systems include PYXIS and EPIC. Staffing and scheduling are based on unit needs. Travelers may be required to work during catastrophic events or disasters. Candidate must pass EKG testing prior to start for this specialty. No scrubs are provided; travelers are expected to provide their own. Travelers must comply with the fatigue policy, which prohibits working more than 5 days in a row or more than 60 hours in a week.
