Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Wilmington, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,053 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Wilmington, North Carolina, 28401! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Must possess a valid nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Telemetry experience, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV medication administration, patient care management in high-acuity settings. Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in medical/surgical and telemetry care. The nurse will work in a float pool supporting an emergency department holding unit. Patients in this unit are waiting for an inpatient bed in the hospital. They may present with any medical or surgical adult diagnosis. The nurse will float to emergency and medical-surgical areas as needed. Travelers may encounter patients requiring progressive care unit level support. Expected patient ratios are 1:6 for medical/surgical or 1:4 for progressive care unit patients. Every other weekend commitment is required. The nurse may be part of a storm or disaster response team when necessary. Candidates should be comfortable with floating based on skill sets and census changes. A strong background in nursing skills related to patient assessment and care is essential. Familiarity with telemetry monitoring, rapid response teams, and high-acuity patient management is required. This role requires applicants to pass EKG testing prior to starting.
