We’re looking for you to become a valued member of the healthcare team at our client’s medical facility!Behavioral Healthcare Professions sought:Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) LCSW DetailsFull Time Schedules Primarily Monday through Friday scheduleSome weekends may be required8 hour shifts available Contract Position LCSW DutiesOperates at the direction of an assigned licensed staff member, typically a staff psychologistProviding professional rehabilitative mental health services to offenders who are identified as having mental, social, physical, emotional, and/or cognitive impairmentsDocumentation in the healthcare record, facilitation of psycho-educational groups, creating group activities, and offering feedback/clinical impressions as part of a treatment teamFacilitation of curriculum-based and leisure activity groups and provision of individual support to offendersMonitoring, maintaining, and inventorying supplies used for programmingMonitoring offenders as they work on treatment goals in the residential milieu and serve as an active member of the multidisciplinary treatment teamMonitor the adjustment of offenders and implement specific techniques aimed at stress management, social skill development, adapting to the demands of the prison environment, and planning for return to the communityEmployee’s supportive counseling role includes the use of crisis intervention techniques and referral to clinical staff for follow-up as necessary LCSW QualificationsGraduation from an accredited educational institutionLicensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the State in which the position is located.
