Job Description TheraEX Staffing Services is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Urgent Care for a locum tenens job in Rockingham, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Urgent Care - Discipline: Nurse Practitioner - Duration: 24 weeks - Shift: 12 hours, days, evenings - Employment Type: Locum Tenens Locum Tenens – NP/PA (Urgent Care) FastMed Urgent Care – North Carolina $95-$105/hr FastMed Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high?quality care in a fast?paced outpatient setting. Providers will manage a full spectrum of urgent care needs and work collaboratively with onsite clinical teams. Responsibilities - Perform comprehensive assessments, including history and physical exams - Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and infections - Order and interpret X?rays, EKGs, and laboratory studies - Prescribe medications and develop evidence?based treatment plans - Perform minor procedures: suturing, splinting, incision & drainage - Educate patients on care plans and follow?up - Document all encounters in EPIC - Collaborate with onsite physicians and clinical staff Qualifications - Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program - Active North Carolina license - Board?certified FNP (or equivalent for PAs) - BLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred - Minimum 1 year of Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience About TheraEX Staffing Services TheraEx Staffing Services is a leading name in healthcare staffing solutions.
