Position Overview - Schedule:Monday"Thursday (8 AM"5 PM) / Friday (8 AM"12 PM) - Duties:Primarily outpatient with limited inpatient consult responsibilities - Administrative Time:0.5 day per week - Patient Contact Hours:36 clinical / 4 administrative - Call Schedule:1:6 general cardiology rotation - EMR:Cerner Patient Volume & Demographics - Daily Volume:22"28 patients per day - Population:Adults with diverse cardiac conditions, primarily 55 years - Setting:Consultative model"hospitalist service manages admissions - Referral Base:Strong, embedded primary care network with growing patient demand Scope of Practice - Non-invasive and general cardiology consultations, diagnostics, and ongoing care - Advanced diagnostic technology including: - Transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography (TTE/TEE) - Stress testing (nuclear and treadmill) - Cardiac CT and MRI utilizing a 256-slice CT scanner - Integrated with a dedicated cardiac device clinic and skilled technicians - Collaborative partnership with interventional cardiology and imaging teams Facilities & Technology - Comprehensive cardiac service line with fully equipped diagnostic labs - 10 modern operating rooms and advanced cardiac monitoring capabilities - Imaging suite featuring MRI (3T/1.5T), ultrasound, and digital subtraction angiography (DSA) - On-site wound care and hyperbaric therapy available for multidisciplinary coordination Compensation & Benefits - Sign-On Bonus:$40,000 transition bonus - Competitive Base Salary:Plus wRVU-based incentive plan - Comprehensive Benefits:Health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance - Retirement:401(k) with employer match - Student Loan Repayment:Eligible through PSLF program participation - CME:$3,000 allowance with 5 CME days per year - Malpractice:Coverage with tail included - Paid Time Off:24 days PTO annually for excellent work-life balance Location " Myrtle Beach & Conway, South Carolina Experience the best of coastal South Carolina living.
