Job Description:
Position Summary Successful completion of the UNC Eshelman
School of Pharmacy Community Practice Fellowship will enable the
fellow to become a future faculty member who will be able to lead a
successful practice-based research program. The fellowship focuses
on the trifold mission of pharmacy faculty – teaching, service, and
scholarship. As such, the program will provide the fellow with a
solid foundation to begin a productive career in academic pharmacy.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience Doctor of
Pharmacy degree and be eligible for licensure in the state of North
Carolina. Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience
Demonstrate an interest in community pharmacy and academic practice
and have an understanding of emerging trends in community pharmacy
practice. Demonstrate project management experience; Demonstrate
experience leading or engaging in complex collaborative efforts to
achieve desired outcomes; Critical thinking and challenge the
status quo to arrive at solutions with the greatest potential for
impact; Effectively communicate and collaborate with others;
Complete work to the highest academic standards; and Ability to
multitask and prioritize responsibilities and activities.
