Job Description:

Seeking a BE/BC Emergency Medicine physician or Family/Internal Medicine Physician with Emergency Medicine experience to join their team.

• Hospital employed
• 26-bed Emergency Department with strong Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant support
• Emergency Department includes a locked 6-bed psychiatric unit
• 24-hour hospitalist and radiology coverage
• Emergency Medicine provider team includes 8 physicians and 4 Advanced Practice Providers
• Full scope of services provided at hospital including General Surgery, OBGYN, Orthopedics, Primary Care, Oncology, Behavioral Health, Cardiology, Nephrology and Pediatrics
• Strong air and ground support to immediately transfer patients to level 1 trauma center located in Greenville, NC
• Telestroke support
• Cardiac Cath Lab
• Ability to live on Lake Gaston
• Conveniently located between Raleigh, NC and Richmond, VA
