Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: NC or Compact license required at time of start Certifications: BLS, ARRT Must-Have: Skills in abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal imaging, diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, peripheral magnetic resonance, spin echo images, surface coils, T1 and T2, CINE. Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly lead to a cancellation. Travelers must work during catastrophic events, mass casualties, or disasters. Candidates must have familiarity with preferred patient groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Special procedures and specific equipment experience are preferred. Candidates may float within the facility or to nearby affiliate facilities based on skill sets and census needs. No RTO is allowed during the first week of a traveler’s assignment. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Current travel clinicians are not eligible for travel assignments and cannot work both simultaneously. Modules must be completed pre-start and annually as part of the hiring process. Travelers cannot work more than 5 days in a row or more than 60 hours in a week. References are highly preferred at the time of submission.
