Job Description Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required. A contract position is available for a Physical Therapist to provide services within a K-12 school setting in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina. The role involves working full-time, approximately 37.5 hours per week, servicing multiple schools within the district. This position requires hands-on, on-site support and offers the opportunity to work with a diverse student population ranging from elementary to high school. Key Responsibilities: - Provide evaluations, treatment, and progress monitoring for a caseload of approximately 30-40 students with varied physical therapy needs. - Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. - Travel regularly between 5 to 9 schools, adapting schedules to meet the needs of each facility. - Maintain documentation and comply with district policies and state regulations. - Participate in team meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to student care. Qualifications: - Active Physical Therapist license. - Prior experience working as a Physical Therapist within a school system. - Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple school assignments. - Ability to adapt to variable caseload demands and changing district priorities. Location and Hours: - Position based in the Research Triangle area, NC. - Full-time commitment, approximately 37.5 hours per week. - School bell schedules vary by grade level and visit frequency may fluctuate from 1-2 times per month per school. This contract position will run from the start date as soon as possible through June 10, 2026. Those with 0-2 years of school experience can expect a pay range of $33-$36 hourly, scaling up with increased experience.
