Join Performance Foodservice, a leader in food distribution across the United States, as a Class A Shuttle Driver. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining our promise of delivering top-notch service and quality products to our wide range of customers, from small family-owned eateries to large national chains. As a Class A Shuttle Driver, you will ensure the safe, timely, and secure transportation of our food products, helping us maintain our standards of reliability and efficiency. Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport products between local distribution facilities. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure that the vehicle is safe and well-maintained. Follow all company-enforced safety rules and alignment with federal and state transportation regulations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all shipments are correctly and securely braced to avoid damage. Maintain communication with dispatch to report any issues or delays and complete logs and reports as required by law and company policies. Provide excellent customer service by making timely deliveries and interacting courteously with clients. Ability to operate a commercial vehicle safely and efficiently. Strong understanding of the roadways throughout the local area. Excellent time management skills to maintain schedule adherence. Basic ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance and minor repairs. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record. DOT medical card.
