Job Description:
The Manager, HR Administrative Services is responsible for the
internal HR systems, applications, and administrative processes and
procedures for the employees of FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies
North Carolina Region. This role ensures the alignment of systems
and processes across the region, FDB Global, and HLUS including,
but not limited to system integrity and accuracy of HRIS/Payroll,
Leave Administration, Onboarding, and required reporting. The
Manager, HR Administrative Services is the lead for Leave
Administration and is a strong Human Resources Business Partner
with high attention to detail for HR processes. Company Overview At

opportunities. What You’ll Do Management: • Manages day-to-day
activities of the HR administrative and systems’ employees ensuring
the various roles and processes align with HLUS, FDB processes and
policies • Ensures HR administrative processes and policies align
with FDB’s People First culture and compliance with Federal and
State level laws (and other municipalities, as required) • Liaises
with HLUS HRIS and Payroll departments to maintain data integrity
and accuracy of systems for all employees in the North Carolina
region • Maintains up to date knowledge and best practices with
Labor Law and employment equity regulations to ensure alignment
between the functions of HRIS/Payroll, Leave Administration, and
Onboarding • Develops, updates and maintains the North Carolina
region’s onboarding process of new employees and transfers to
maintain a seamless and positive experience for all FDB employees •
Produces and disseminates appropriate reports, including Federal,
State and site specific required reporting, etc. • Creates and
maintains documentation for Managers of HR administrative
processes, ensuring relevant, easy to follow and up-to-date
information • Develops user processes and documentation, and
ensures proper training and documentation is available for end
users, for all responsible areas (HR systems, LOA administration,
onboarding, etc.) • Manages yearly wellness fair activities for
North Carolina region • Creates system training materials, ensuring
all new users are given the necessary training on the system and
that regular refresher training is provided to all employees •
Conducts periodic data audits and data cleansing exercises, user
audits and security access audits, as necessary • Ensures accuracy,
integrity and maintains all data in the relevant systems and
formats (HRIS, SmartSheets, SharePoint, employee files, etc.) •
Provides assistance to the PNC team with report creation,
troubleshooting and guidance, as needed • Collaborates with
executive leadership and HR to identify needed improvements and
enhancements to existing information, systems, and processes,
recommends and implements solutions • Compiles or assists with
acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs requested
by senior executives and HR staff • Serves as lead representative
and liaison between HR, IT, external vendors, and other
stakeholders for implementation projects, as needed • Attends
monthly FUJIFILM Payroll and Benefit meetings • Fosters an
inclusive, People First culture with regular communication,
conducting 1:1s on a defined cadence with direct reports • Coaches
and guides direct reports to foster individual and team
professional development and growth • Addresses performance gaps,
employee concerns, and partners with HR as needed for resolution •
Performs other duties, as required Leave of Absence Administration:
• Manages and is the point of contact for all leaves of absences
and workplace accommodations for FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies
North Carolina Region employees • Serves as a point of contact for
management or employee questions or issues related to leaves,
accommodations, or the process • Collaborates with Human Resources
Business Partners, management, benefits, Occupational nurses, and
employees to facilitate a smooth leave process • Works with
FUJIFILM Payroll and third-party leave administrators to ensure the
maintenance and accuracy of employee leave records, pay and
confidential medical information is in accordance with federal and
state laws and internal policies • Monitors data integrity of
benefit and leave data and implements proactive audits to detect
and correct errors in our systems and processes • Reviews and
assesses employee accommodation requests, ensuring compliance with
ADA and other applicable laws, regulations, and company policies,
in collaboration with management and Occupational Health Nurses •
Coordinates and facilitates all ADA interactive meetings with
employees requesting accommodation in a timely manner • Maintains
appropriate contact with all employees on leave and respective
management to communicate updates and coordinate all aspects of
return-to-work for employees on leave • Collaborates with HR
Business Partners and Legal team as needed to ensure all leaves are
properly designated • Collaborates with FUJIFILM Benefits, Legal,
and HR team to develop and deliver training and resources for
employees and managers on leave of absence and accommodation on
appropriate policies and procedures • Liaises with the EHS&S
department to complete any Human Resources specific information for
worker’s compensation claims • Stays up to date on leave
requirements of both federal and relevant state municipalities •

Diploma or GED with 10 years of progressively responsible HR
experience OR • Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of progressively
responsible HR experience OR • Master’s Degree with 6 years of
progressively responsible HR experience • 3 Years of benefit
administration and/or leave of absence experience, including
disability claims, ADA and FMLA claims • Basic knowledge of state
and federal leave-related regulations including FMLA, ADA, LOA
programs • Experience in providing consultation of the
accommodation process to managers, people professionals, employees,
and/or business partners • Experience managing HRIS or payroll
systems • Supervisory or management experience Preferred
Requirements Certifications • Bachelors degree in Business, Human
Resources or Psychology, or related area • Experience in a cGMP
environment • Experience in a 24/7 manufacturing environment •
Experience developing and implementing HR processes or procedures •
Proficiency with HRIS (ADP), leave management systems, and
