HYG designs, engineers, manufactures, sells and services a comprehensive line of lift trucks and aftermarket parts marketed globally under the Hyster and Yale brand names. We are one of the global leaders in the Material Handling industry and have been building relationships and partnering with our customers, suppliers, dealers and employees for over 80 years. The successful HR Business Partner will have the following Key Accountabilities: HR Administration, Benefits Administration, Payroll processing Day to day employee relations decisions for the client groups including employment, counseling and termination. Organizational development/changes. Training plan design and implementation. Wage and salary administration for the client group workforce. Performance management administration for the client groups Business Partnership/Employee Relations- Operate as a business partner with client groups. Provide expertise in Employee Relations and in handling employee activities, concerns and complaints to assure fair and equitable treatment of employees and to maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws. Talent Acquisition and Management - Collaborate with the Talent Management function to coordinate an effective and efficient recruiting process. Attracting, selecting, training, developing, promoting and maintaining high potential employees. Apply legal/regulatory compliance in all facets of talent management. Performance Management and Organizational Development - Partner with client groups to effectively promote and utilize the performance management process to drive continuous improvement, as well as employee development and growth. Training & Development - Assess, recommend, and initiate training and development plans based on current needs, succession planning and employee career/development plans. Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify/improve existing programs. Compensation and Benefits Administration - Provide job analysis and position description recommendations to Corporate Compensation and Benefits. EOE/Minorities/Females/Veterans/Disabled Requirements The successful HR Business Partner will have the following Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or in a Business related field Master's in Human Resources/Industrial & Labor Relations preferred Minimum of 5 years of HR generalist experience, supervisory experience preferred. Manufacturing experience preferred. Knowledge of federal/ state/local employment laws/regulations relating to OFCCP, EEOC, Unemployment Insurance, COBRA, etc. Employee Relations: conflict resolution, problem solving, counseling, facilitation Partnership skills: coaching, influencing, problem solving, consulting Leadership experience and business acumen Knowledge of sound HR practices in areas of employment, compensation, benefit design and administration. Business skills: business writing, computer/information systems, presentation skills
