Digital Innovation Manager - Agricultural Solutions Research Triangle Park, NC 12 Month Contract Pay Range: 40 - 50/hr, W 2 This role doesn't require ongoing travel but there might be 1-2 innovation events per year where travel overnight might be needed. This is a hybrid role with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (optionally). Job Description : We are looking for a forward-thinking Digital Innovation Manager to join our Agricultural Solutions AgroStart Team. This individual will identify and implement cutting-edge digital technologies in Agriculture to solve customer pain points and fulfill business needs. Key Responsibilities: 1.Actively scout for emerging digital technologies and digital trends relevant to the agricultural sector, with an emphasis on finding solutions that drive business growth and efficiency. 2.Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and identify potential technological solutions. 3.Lead the consulting process for internal teams on technology adoption and digital innovation. Provide guidance on how technology can solve challenges, improve services, or create new business opportunities. 4.Foster a culture of innovation within the organization and help build capabilities for a better partner experience 5.Present the potential value of new technologies and provide recommendations based on potential return on investment and alignment with business goals. 6.Maintain strong relationships with external tech vendors and partners and leverage these relationships to stay ahead of industry trends and developments. 7.Work closely with Digital Product Owners and IT delivery leads to develop and implement Digital Products. 8. Support regional Artificial Intelligence projects Qualifications: 1.Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Agriculture or related field. 2.Minimum of 5 years of experience in technology scouting, consulting, or a related role, preferably within the agricultural sector. 3.Proven experience in implementing and managing innovation initiatives and digital products. 4.Solid understanding of emerging technologies, digital trends, and their application in the agricultural industry. 5.Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage a diverse range of stakeholders. 6.Demonstrable project management skills, with a track record of leading and implementing technology projects successfully. 7. Experience with Artificial Intelligence projects is an advantage. 8. Innovative thinking and knowledge for digital technology and agriculture 9. Track record of identifying and implementing technological solutions.
