Job Description As a Security Professional - Armed Industrial Patrol in Wilmington, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more . As an Armed Patrol Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry and responsibly manage a firearm while on duty. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by site. Help to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and thorough patrols. Monitor for unusual activity or potential hazards within the facility and report findings as required. Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points. Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies. Minimum Requirements: Must possess a valid North Carolina Armed Security Professional License. Must have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree. Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or an equivalent program. Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Must possess a valid driver's license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Must possess a valid law enforcement officer license. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
