Job Description:
Our client, a manufacturing organization, is seeking a Material
Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part
of the Shipping department supporting logistics and order
fulfillment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability,
adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align
successfully in the organization. Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Burgaw, NC Pay Range: $20.00 Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 p.m.
to 11:30 p.m.) What's the Job? Operate a walkie rider pallet jack
for pulling orders and transporting pallets of product Be a
motivated and open-minded team member, willing to adapt to new
techniques and processes Load and unload pallets to and from trucks
efficiently and safely Use handheld computers and other technology
to track load progress accurately Work flexibly across different
areas according to business needs and adhere to company policies
and procedures What's Needed? Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
regularly Minimum of 6 months of forklift experience required
Ability to read orders and record information in English Ability to
stand or walk for extended periods of time Forklift certification
