Job Description:
Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a
Production Associate to join their team. As an associate, you will
be part of the manufacturing team supporting the assembly line
operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to
detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work
well in a team environment. Job Title: Production Associate
Location: Durham, NC Pay Range: $15/hr - $16.13/hr Schedule:
715AM-715PM OR 715PM-715AM (2-2-3 ROTATING SHIFT) Essential Duties
and Responsibilities: Places inspected cards into specified
packaging containers for final or future pack out in accordance
with job jacket instructions. Collects finished product from the
slitter and inspects for quality, correct material, and visual
defects. Notifies operator/ line lead and supervision if
non-conforming material (including packaging material) is
discovered. Knows and follows safety rules set in training. Keeps
the work environment around the assembly line clean, neat, and
orderly. Understands and adheres to quality standards and
procedures. Observes established safe working and housekeeping
procedures; promptly corrects hazardous situations. Performs other
related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the
efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
Qualifications: Ability to stand and perform the requirements of
the position for extended periods of time Ability to handle and
interpret measurements. Willingness to abide by all plant practices
and procedures. Ability to maintain great attendance and tardy
record. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: High School
Diploma or GED, a year of manufacturing experience (preferably in
print industry), any college education is a plus Language Skills:
Ability to understand and apply written and verbal instructions.
Ability to communicate clearly and must be able to work well with
others. Mathematical Skills: Perform simple mathematical
calculations-addition, subtraction, multiplication Certificates,
