Our client, a leader in electrical distribution systems and solutions, is seeking an Electro Mechanical Technician 1 to join their team. As an Electro Mechanical Technician 1, you will be part of the manufacturing support team, contributing to the assembly and wiring of critical electrical equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Electro Mechanical Technician 1 Location: Wendell, NC Pay Range: $21-$24/hour Shift: 3:00pm – 11:30pm, Monday through Friday (2nd shift) What's the Job? Assemble and wire Low Voltage Motor Control Centers, switchgear, and related electrical components Perform mechanical assembly of steel structures and sub-assemblies Follow detailed assembly drawings, BOMs, and layouts to ensure accuracy Record job transactions and maintain documentation for quality control Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment What's Needed? High School Diploma or GED 1 years of experience in mechanical assembly or related mechanical field Ability to lift parts or sub-assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs. occasionally Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and BOMs Strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking) What's in it for me?
