Job Description:
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in
precision tooling and die maintenance, is seeking a dedicated Tool
and Die Maker to join their team. As a Tool and Die Maker, you will
be an essential part of the manufacturing department, supporting
the production and maintenance of high-quality dies and tooling.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills,
attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving,
which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title:
Tool and Die Maker Location: Farmville, NC Pay Range: $21.50 Shift:
1st Shift What's the Job? Perform a wide variety of duties to
repair single operation and progressive dies, including altering,
repairing, and maintaining dies, tools, holders, jigs, fixtures,
and gauges. Draw parts in BobCAD format as assigned and program
wire EDM & Cincinnati mill machines. Investigate and order tools
approved by your supervisor, ensuring all tooling meets quality
standards. Rebuild and rework all tooling as needed, assisting in
building new tooling when required. Maintain all machines, tools,
fixtures, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized manner,
reporting any issues promptly. What's Needed? High School or Trade
School Graduate, with preferred certification in Tool and Die
Making. Ability to read and interpret work orders, drawings, and
specifications accurately. Proficiency in using precision measuring
instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and indicators.
Ability to lift 75 to 100 pounds occasionally and perform
repetitive bending, reaching, stretching, lifting, and twisting.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability
