North Carolina is currently searching for an experienced
Cardiopulmonary Clinical Nurse Educator to join their award-winning
Over the last 50 years, this acute care hospital has grown to
nearly 300-beds and is now known as a regional leading provider of
primary, acute, and tertiary care services. This organization is
fully accredited by the Joint Commission and strives to provide
reliable and high-quality patient centered care to the surrounding
communities. This medical center is home to an award-winning
Women’s Center, comprehensive Cardiovascular service line, Trauma
and Critical Care services, and much more.
The Cardiopulmonary Clinical Nurse Educator will join a leading
service line that has received more than five national awards for
quality achievements in cardiac and stroke care. The Nurse Educator
will join a cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation program that works
to improve the patient’s heart, respiratory, and overall health.
The cardiac and pulmonary rehab program offers a variety of
treatments and therapies including supervised education, nutrition
planning, lifestyle education, and much more.
The Cardiopulmonary Clinical Nurse Educator will lead the
professional development activities of the licensed and unlicensed
employees to ensure further professional competencies. The Nurse
Educator will serve as a subject matter expert by planning,
assessing, and evaluating the educational needs of staff, patients,
and families. The Nurse Educator must have a Bachelor’s degree from
an accredited school of nursing, Master’s degree is preferred.
Prior experience as a Nurse Educator in a similar clinical setting
is highly preferred.
